Frankees just opened last year in May and the restaurant still has that new-ish feel. Or maybe they just keep the place really clean, which is definitely a good thing.
If you're asked what kind of food Frankees serves, you'll definitely be lost for words since there isn't really one word or specific cuisine that describes it like Chinese, Filipino, Seafood, Fast food, etc. The nearest thing I could think of is "comfort food" as Frankees menu is a combination of usual favorite's and other unhealthy but delicious meaty dishes. Apparently, they're also proud of their Molten Lava Cake though we weren't able to try it when we were there. Next time, we'll definitely try it.

So we got their Baby Back Ribs (220 php), Oriental Sesame Salad (160 php, I think), Grilled Tuna with Lemon Butter Sauce (230 php) and Frozen Lemonade (50 php). Overall, the food was acceptable though nothing to rave about.
The best from what we ordered was the Oriental Salad since it was not your usual Caesar Salad. The tuna was actually good too though that was overpowered by how un-fresh that piece of tuna was. The tuna was already a bit itchy in the mouth - a definite sign that it has been in the fridge longer than it should be.
The Baby Back Ribs also tasted nice though I don't like their specific cut. The ribs were too thick. There was a layer of fat and meat on top of the actual rib part. Very similar to that of Capt. Richies ribs here in Cagayan de Oro. And I definitely don't like that. For me, proper Baby Back Ribs should be lean and contain only the ribs and the meat around it - not additional fat and meat on top.
The only ribs I've liked here in CDO is from TGI Friday's so I'm still searching for local CDO restaurants that serve it correctly. I really liked their Frozen Lemonade since it wasn't too sweet though I'm not sure if they used real lemons or just the powdered mix variety.

We'll definitely be back here to try their other dishes, and hopefully, their ingredients will be fresher this time. I also liked how spacious the place is and how it isn't too full of people. Hoping that they maintain the cleanliness of their restaurant and the service level. Our waitress was quite helpful and was also attentive, and our food didn't take too long to be served.
